About Power of Love Ministries
The ministry and the name Power of Love were born on an evangelistic outreach with evangelist Joël Hitchcock to Venezuela in 2007, where the power of Gods love was experienced first hand. (See photos and article).
Mission:
Power of Love Ministries speaks prophetically about the power of God’s love where it is ministered. No ministry can function if the love of God is not ministered. The power of God’s love saves, heals, equips and empowers. The power of God’s love brings worth, value and hope to all people.
Power of Love has the vision to equip, encourage and exhort people all over the world;
And to teach individuals to come closer to the heart of God, to be able to hear the heart of God and then speak the heart of God;
Aim:
1. To equip and teach individuals, groups for ministry sake about the
power of the love of God for self and others.
2. To encourage individuals to grow in God and in character. The
importance of the fruit of the spirit (Gal 5:22) and the gifts of the spirit (1 Cor 12) are expressed in all training and ministry sessions.

About Jessica
Jessica vd Walt is the founder of Power of Love Ministries. She resides in Naboomspruit, South Africa with her husband Hendrik and their three beautiful children – two daughters and one son.
Her passion is that the bride of Christ will know Him intimately (Phil 3:10 Amplified) and know His heart, so that the bride can develop out of His heart into her gifts and calling. Jessica ministers prophetically and expresses the importance of the gifts of the spirit as well as the fruit of the spirit. She enjoys equipping the new and mature Christian with tools for growth in ministry, character and all facets of Christian life. She loves giving others a platform for ministry. Her driving force is to inspire people with the love and the word of God to overcome and embrace all challenges in life and ministry. She runs the prophetic school in her church where all the above facets are taught to students on a weekly basis.
Jessica is a dynamic speaker who ministers on invitation locally, nationally and internationally. She had the privilege to minister in two bordering African countries and also in Venezuela, South America. (See gallery for photos of these life-changing outreaches)
Na ‘n kragtige bekering en doping in die Heilige Gees in 1998 roep die Here vir Jessica tot die bediening. Die Here gebruik die volgende paar jaar om haar intens voor te berei in gees, siel en liggaam vir die roeping in haar lewe. Baie gewoontes en denkwyses word deur trane, baklei, bid en die sagte leiding van die Heilige Gees verander.
Gedurende hierdie tyd van voorbereiding begin sy haar eie besigheid, maar in 2005 in haar winkel herinner die Here haar duidelik aan die roeping in haar lewe. Die winkel word net daarna verkoop en vanaf 2005 is sy voltyds in die bediening.
Sy studeer deur Passie vir Jesus Bybelskool(CLT) onder die leiding en mentorskap van Terry en Wenna Terblanch en ontvang haar diploma in Bediening in 2007.
In Februarie 2008 word sy geordineer as pastoor by die Lighuis Charismatiese Gemeente in Naboomspruit en bedien sy onder die gesag van Pastoor Tony Leite. ’n Profetiese skool word in die gemeente gestig en staan op die twee bene van Power of Love Ministries en Lighuis gemeente.
